I'm 30 years old, living just outside of Dallas, TX. I moved out here about a year-and-a-half ago for a couple reasons. I wanted to go back and finish some sort of degree, and this coming May I will be done with my 2-year degree in Accounting. The other main reason was that I wanted to make a few changes...new scenery, try somewhere else, and become active in church again. I thank my brother and sister-in-law for the opportunity to accomplish all these things.
I chose the name of my blog to be "The Life of Uncle Curtis", because that's what I am right now...Uncle Curt. My dear mother has already labeled me as the resident uncle, since I'm 30 and single. Sounds like she's given up on me, huh??? (Just kidding mom) But I think my brother really has given up on me. He has a wall of pictures in his house with everybody and their significant others. This is a picture of a pony that I was working on breaking for my mom and stepdad. They got rid of him after I moved to Texas. Not because I moved, but because they didn't have the time to keep working with him.
I have 2 amazing nieces right now (C.J. and Ainsley) and this summer I'll be uncle to another niece and my first nephew!!! I'm so excited about that!!!
I'm not sure how often I will use this, but I'm thinking I will need a stress release during my last semester of school since I'm taking 21 hours and working at least 30 hours a week. Anyway, thanks for checking out my blog!!!
Casey's not messing with you...he didn't know about the picture. Sorry! I'm the one who put the pictures up on the wall. I liked the picture so I thought it would be good for now. I can put up whatever picture you want though. :) I haven't given up on you!!
